a word or two (or three or four) about this blog...

I started this blog to give myself space to write every day (or week or month, as the case may be). I'm also hoping to use this forum to write things down for my daughter Lucy who will be coming into the world in this fall (because, unlike her brother, she's probably not going to get a hand sewn quilt as a touchstone of her mother's love for her before her birth. Quilting while toddler wrangling proved far too cumbersome in the end...). I'll mostly be exploring issues of faith (this is what three years of seminary does to a person) and the myriad other bits and pieces that end up tangled in my daily life.
